By using Paddiq you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What Paddiq is

Paddiq is a record-keeping and information tool for vehicle owners. It stores the history you enter and uses that history to generate suggestions — possible causes, things to check, rough costs, and estimated values.

Who can use Paddiq

You must be at least 13 years old to use Paddiq. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use it only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms with you — vehicle work carries real risk, and that is not a decision a minor should be making alone.

By using Paddiq you confirm you meet that requirement, and that you are not barred from using the service under applicable law.

Safety

Vehicle work carries real risk. Brakes, steering, suspension, fuel systems, airbags, high-voltage components, and anything requiring the vehicle to be lifted can cause serious injury or death if handled incorrectly.

• Follow the manufacturer's service information for your specific vehicle. It supersedes anything Paddiq tells you.
• If a job is beyond your tools, experience, or confidence, stop and use a qualified shop. Paddiq flags many such jobs, but not flagging one is not an assurance that it is safe.
• Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack.

You are responsible for work you carry out on your vehicle. We are not liable for injury, damage, or loss arising from repairs, decisions, or purchases made using Paddiq.

Value estimates

Your account and your data

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of what you enter. You keep ownership of your content. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display it back to you, and to process it through the services described in our Privacy Policy.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to upload, and do not use Paddiq to store other people's personal information without their knowledge.

Acceptable use

• No attempts to access another user's data
• No automated scraping, bulk extraction, or reselling of the service
• No circumventing usage limits, including on AI features
• No uploading malware or unlawful content

AI features are rate-limited to keep the service affordable and available. Limits may change.

Shops and third-party references

Where Paddiq lists repair shops, parts, or external resources, that is a pointer, not a recommendation or a warranty. We do not verify the quality of third-party work. Any paid or sponsored placement will be clearly labelled as such.

Availability and changes

Paddiq is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can, and you can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or vehicle value, arising from your use of Paddiq.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Under California law that includes liability for fraud, for wilful injury to another person or their property, and for violations of law — whether wilful or negligent. Nothing here waives any right you have under California consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we each consent to that. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory law of the place where you live, and it does not prevent you from bringing a claim in small claims court.

Under California Civil Code section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice. The provider of this service is Paddiq, contactable at [email protected]. Paddiq is currently free to use and no fees are charged.
